To work: Sew the brocade to thecloth, and conceal the edges with an inner line of thick gold cord, and an outer line ol lilos lie; use a thick strand of filosellefor this line, and slightly puff it out between each securing stitch; work the design on the Applique1 in Satin Stitch, withcoloured silks, and use dark green cord for the stems of the flowers, and other thick lines.
