Whenthe running-board is covered with lin-oleum, which is nearly always shellackedin place, or aluminum matting, which isheld by small screws and binding-strips,it is difficult to get at the bolt head. Theusual installation, shown at A, can beimproved materially by following thescheme shown at B. This can beused if the bolt has been installed andthe square shank has turned.
