The knot garden of Sudeley Castle


Sudeley Castle was established prior to 1066, and recorded in the Domesday Book. The inhabited portion is chiefly Elizabethan and is surrounded by 14 acres of magnificent gardens. The grounds contain groundbreaking contemporary art exhibition by internationally renowned artists. The chapel, St Mary's Sudeley, is the burial place of Queen Catherine Parr (c. 1512–1548), the sixth wife of King Henry VIII. Liz Hurley married Arun Nayar here in February 2007
