The 'Great War' window at the West end of the church is by Powell of Whitefriars and is dated 1918. The window depicts Saint Michael for the balance of justice; Saint George, Patron of England and Saint Gabriel, for Divine Power, hoding a Palestine lily. The window is dedicated:- TO THE MEMORY OF LEIUTENANT JOHN REGINALD LINGARD, KILLED AT SUVLA BAY, GALLIPOLI, 21st. AUGUST 1915. "He is sacred high in our memory:- And to GOD we can leave the rest". The inscription is "COME YE BLESSED OF MY FATHER INHERIT THE KINGDOM PREPARED FOR YOU".
