Germany,Guthaus Stolpe Fährkrug,Renovated 300-year-old bar and restaurant next to the Peene River. Historic listed building exterior. The old Fährkrug, close to the Stolpe Abbey monastery, was built partly from stones, which came from the monastery ruins. The Low German poet Fritz Reuter was a frequent guest in Stolpe from 1853 to 1863 and he spent a lot of time in the Fährkrug. In 1860, the ruined monastery inspired him to write the "Original History of Meckelnbörg”.
