The 28th Annual Deep Ellum Arts Festival was the largest in the 21 years that thisphotographer has attended,enjoyed and participated in an events venue of distinction when The Greatful Dead recorded the The Blind Lemon song written in Deep Ellum by Blind Lemon, himself. It is a cultural event with its history back to the days when Cotton was King and people of color lived, celebrated their music,their food, and handmade art in various forms. The bands of today come to Deep Ellum to preform and immerse themselves in their music.
