A riding sword,Southern Europe,circa 1550 Double-edged blade,with double shallow fullers and a Toledo(?)smith's mark on each side. Cut iron(somewhat pitted)hilt with S-shaped quillons,two guard rings,and guard loops forming a cross on the reverse side. Old,(non-matching)cut iron pommel and a later leather grip cover. Length cm.
