Luymes. The emblem contains the family crest of Captain-Ter Sea Luymes (1869-1943), which made itself very deserving in a hydrographic area. Between 1920 and 1935 he was chef of the Hydrography department and participated in the Snelliusexpedition (1929-1930) in Dutch-Indian waters. Logo lined by Luymes (1952-1973) and Luymes (2004-).
