From , the MdbK Leipzig will be presenting in its rooms with Yoko Ono's 'PEACE is POWER' the most extensive retrospective of the now 86-year-old artist in Germany. The artist and her longtime friend and curator Jon Hendricks as well as museum director Alfred Weidinger selected the approximately 70 works and series of works shown. Yoko Ono is one of the most influential and controversial artists of our time. She is considered a pioneer of artistic performance and conceptual art as well as one of the outstanding pioneers of the US Fluxus movement.
