One of Russia's leading petrochemical engineers Dr Alexander Shakun pictured near the boot of his company NPP Neftehim at the EPC conference in Moscow in September 2015. Dr Shakun developed isomerisation technologies Isomalk and Isoplat . These processes enabled 11 + refineries in Russia alone to produce high quality component of gasoline at lower costs than leading American, German and French technologies of isomerisation. In 2015 t of isomerisate in Russia out of t total was produced with Dr Shakun's technology. Russia is northern country and its predominantly gasoline engines country. Dr Shakun's technology is also actively licensed abroad, mainly in China and India via the marketing partner of Neftehim, American company GTC.
