Gen-erous friends have come forward to increase its endowment,building after building has been erected, attendance has in-creased until now it is second to no institution of college rankin Wisconsin, either in number of students, size of faculty,courses of study offered, or facilities for a thorough educa-tion extended. LAWRENCE COLLEGE BULLETIN THE BUILDINGS lias an excellent equipment of buildingsfor an institution which does only undergraduate of them have been built in recent years and arethoroughly up-to-date. They are as follows: 1. College Hall, used for recitation purposes. 2. Stephenson Hall of Science, containing laboratories andmuseum. 3. The Alexander Gymnasium, thoroughly equipped withapparatus, baths, etc. 4. The Library, a recent building and one of the finest col-lege libraries in the country. 5. The Observatory, containing a large and small tele-scope, and other equipment. 6. Brokaw Hall, recently erected as a Y. M. C. A. and boysdormitory. It is a most excellent building and thoroughlyequipped. 7. Ormsby Hall, a beautiful dormitory for women. 8. Ormsby Annex, a dormitory for women. 9. Peabody Home, a dormitory for women. 10. Smith Home, a dormitory for women. 11. The Presidents House, a home for the president ofthe college. 12. Peabody
