Lower Falls, Yellowstone

Yellowstone River, is the largest free-flowing (undammed) river in the Lower 48. Yellowstone National Park is one of the most geologically fascinating places on earth. The park measures 63 by 54 miles and covers 2-2million acres, which makes it one of the largest national parks. The United Nations has declared Yellowstone both a World Biosphere Reserve and a World Heritage Site. The Park is accessible from all four sides and a loop road provides easy access to all the beat known sites. A mixture of the real and the unreal. In the summer long lies of cars can be seen backed up, when someone spots a family of bears in a clearing. Throngs of photographers, hikers: and general sightseers waiting for Old Faithful to erupt. Even so many parts of the park remain virtually uninhabited, in the Yellowstone backcountry it is possible to walk without seeing a fellow hiker for days
