UNITED STATES - July 3, 2017: A cyclist fords Butchers Branch along Jeb Steward Road in Philomont. The old dirt road is a state maintained road and the sign at the creek crossing warns not to cross in a motorized vehicle. The cyclist is Gene Rhodes who retired from photojournalism 40-years ago on the 4th of July from the Winchester Star.
