Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia - October 26, 2012: The game is on at Beach Netball, a first for the Surfers Paradise beach front, teams have come from all over Australia to compete in a four day event of beach netball, an offshoot of traditional netball only having the time for playing reduced to account for the difficulty of playing in loose sand. sponsored by the local council and Events Queensland, this is another event designed to support local retailers and the hospitality industry on the coast.
