24th April 2015 Portishead Somerset England. The Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) present the new Portishead Lifeboat Station with their RNLI has declared the Portishead station operational. It is the RNLI's 238th station, all are dedicated to preserving life at sea and are run by volunteers. The RNLI is a charity and does not receive govenment funding.
