The union of our subject and his wife was cele-brated on the 28th of October, 1857, and has beenblessed Avith six children: Minerva, who is athome; William, now a resident of Adams County,Wis.; John, who died in Kansas, in January, 1885,in the twenty-fourth year of his age; Margaret,wife of George Yroman; Walter, who is living inOxford, Wis.; and Alice.
