State Dinner for President of Poland Lech Walesa. After the meal in the State Dining Room guests walk across the hallway to the East Room and are formally entertained by musical ensemble such as a pianist a singer an orchestra or band or national renown. On past occasions dancing has also been a component of activities at the conclusion of the evening. On this night guests were entertained by Broadway singer Karen Akers who sang " Music of the Night" and Dream a Little Dream of Me" After her performance President George Bush introduces her to Lech Walesa the President of Poland.
