Baroque octagonal wood-shingled bellcote of the 1700s roadside Ortskapelle or local chapel at Fronhausen, on the Mieming or Mieminger Plateau in North Tyrol, Austria.

Fronhausen, North Tyrol, Austria: a single black bell hangs below the octagonal wood-shingled Baroque bellcote, topped by a golden ball and cross, that rises behind the graceful gable surmounting the west front of the 18th century roadside Ortskapelle or local chapel in this hamlet on the Mieming or Mieminger Plateau. The plateau is a mountain terrace about 14 km ( miles) long and up to 1,000 m (3,280 ft) above the Upper Inn valley. The faded frescoes decorating the gable have been attributed either to the Austrian church painter Josef Anton Puellacher (1737-1799), or to another late-1700s artist, Josef Degenhart. The artworks include a depiction of St Martin of Tours dividing his cloak with a ragged beggar, two men standing with a horse, flying angels and a Madonna and Child.
