One of my friends has broughtsome of the land that Governor Wisedescribed from five barrels of corn tofifteen per acre. He is a Yankee andhe knows beans. Peas are a variety of the same legu-minous tribe; buckwheat is are renovators of worn-out soil whenrightly chosen. Who knows what kindof bean or pea is the best renovator,and why ?
