Departments of Instruction, The following subjects are offered in the different subjects in the departments of instruction preceded by a Romannumeral count towards the degree of B. S. All subjects precededby a capital letter lead to a certificate. Agriculture. PROFESSOR ADAMS, MR. BTJRDICK, MR. MALLETTE, MR. LAMBERT. The instruction given in this subject is grouped under the threeheads—agronomy, animal husbandry, and horticulture. The aim isto give such theoretical and practical training in the fundamentalsof agriculture as will enable those who take this work to fill posi-tions of trust and responsibility, either as owners of their own farms,managers of estates, or along other lines of agricultural activity. That the graduates from this department may be fitted to takeup the work as outlined above, all students registering for a degreein agriculture will be required to show a certain familiarity withthe ordinary operations of the farm before such degree is given.
