ProfessorOsborn will return about April 1 and will doubtless have a story ofexperiences very different from those incident to the exploration of ourown western country, to which he has devoted so much time in thelast fifteen years, interesting as the latter have been. The party goesby camel train southwestward from Cairo three days journey into thedesert, and the region in which work is to he carried on is at least fiftymiles from the nearest source of water.
