Cosmos, «« ; The Cosmos is now one of our most popular flowers, but frequently, on account of its coming into bloom so late, the plants are destroyed by frost without having perfected a solitary flower. This new variety comes into full flower in July, and continues a mass of bloom until cut down by severe frost. The flowers are fully as large as in the best selections of the old type ; the color is a beautiful white, relieved by a delicate tint of rose at the base of the petals; altogether, the finest novelty introduced in many years.
