We do .urge our preachers to continue their efforts until they havesecured a contribution from every member of the church for thiscause. Let them inform our people that this fund is to be set apart asa sacred trust, the interest alone of which is to be used for the mainte-nance of our institutions of learning, unless otherwise directed by thedonors. I). , 28 MINUTES OF THE ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTEENTH SESSION what shall be subscribed, may be made, your Board offers the follow-ing Resolution: Resolved, That the Presiding Elders shall secure from each pastorin their respective districts the amount that has been subscribed tothe fund, and at each Quarterly Conference inquire and have recordedthe amount that has been paid on said subscription, and to makereport to the Conference Secretary of Education each quarter, of theamount collected, to be published in the Advocate. We would respectfully recommend that the Trustees and Faculty ofWofford College arrange to relieve Professor J. G.
