Volunteers remove the invasive garlic mustard from a city park in Detroit

Detroit, Michigan - Volunteers remove garlic mustard (Alliaria petiolata) from Palmer Park. Garlic mustard is native to Europe and Asia; in North America it is an invasive species which tends to crowd out native plants in woodland habitats. Here it is growing with yellow rocket, a non-native but not particularly invasive species.
