Sasebo, Japan (Sept. 16, 2006) - USS Patriot (MCM 7) sits moored at the Ship Repair Facility (SRF) in Sasebo, Japan. Patriot and other ships under Commander, Task Force (CTF) 76 took measures to avoid damage from the incoming Typhoon Shanshan. Patriot went to the dry dock because it is undergoing a shipÕs restricted availability (SRA) period while the other ships sortied out of the area. Navy
