Nakago with one mekugi-ana and kiri-yasurime. Inscribed "Hitachi(no)Kami Sada(?)shige". Well preserved kesho polish. Copper habaki,iron tsuba in Onin style with Chrysanthemum sukashi. Fuchi-kashira of shibuichi,gold and shakudo weaver's shuttle on mingaki ground. Gold-plated tiger menuki,black silk binding over same.
