Refueling
A Marine Corps F/A-18 Hornet receives fuel from a Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker, assigned to the 340th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron, during a mission in support of Operation Inherent Resolve on Aug. 31, 2017. The F-18 is capable across the full mission spectrum: air superiority, fighter escort, reconnaissance, aerial refueling, close air support, air defense suppression as well as day and night precision strikes.
