Pipa is a well known destination throughout South America. Backpackers and surfers discovered Pipa in the early 1980's and some loved it so much they never left. Stunning Praia do Madeiro, also known as the Dolphin Beach, is where the wild dolphins come to feed daily amongst the swimmers.
