A mine-clearing technique is demonstrated in this image taken on February 10, 1967 during Operation "Circe" in Vietnam. The picture shows a 750-lb line charge being pulled from an LVT-E1 by a rocket. The LVTs, belonging to "A" Company of the First Antrac Battalion, were attached to the Third Battalion, First Marine Regiment for the operation, near Da Nang, RVN. This photograph is from the Defense Department (Marine Corps) and is classified under A374429 mee 127 GVB-258.
