Now let us turn back along Commercial Street to QuincyMarket, built 1825-26. This is a two-story granite building, withlarge porticos at each end, and a dome over the centre. Thosewho enjoy a display of market wares, will find satisfaction inwalking through this building. Just west of the market inFaneuil Hall Square stands the cradle where the child Liberty.
