New single varieties in mixed colors; neat, compact and dwarf habit, growing about one foot in height; very free flowering; invaluable for cutting purposes. Per pkt. 5 cts. FOUR O'CLOCK. The well-known Four O'clock. A handsome free-flowering garden favorite; blooming the first season from seed: the flowers, which are produced in clusters, present a gorgeous sight during the afternoon. Hardy annuals. Beautiful colors; 2 ft. Per pkt. 5 cts. Cosmos Cosmos are unquestionably very handsome flowering plants, and have become general favor- ites. There has been one objection to their late flowering habit, but this has been overcome in this new strain of Early Flowering Cosmos. Seed sown in our garden the beginning of May com- menced to show a few flowers in July, and dur- ing August and September were covered with flowers. The plants are dwarfer than the late flowering Cosmos, forming bushes from 4 to 5 feet high. The plants have fine feathery, light green foliage, flowers are produced on long stems, and are very handsome for cut flowers and bou- quets, as they will last a week after cutting.
