Caribbean Parasol View of Petit Saint Vincent & Petit Martinique from Mopian Island: Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

Mopian island is known as the smallest island in the world. It is set in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and is really a sand spit. It can only be reached by boat and there is no vegetation. A small palm thatched parasol provides the only shade on the diminutive sandy outcrop. It has often featured in advertising as the ubiquitous desert island and is quite inspirational. There are stunning 360 degree views from here of the islands of Grenada as well as the nearby Palm Island.
