Automotive trademarks are the property of the trademark holder, authorization may be needed for some uses. --- Information:1983 Land Rover 90in Prototype No. 1 belonginging to the Dunsfold Collection: chassis number 7AA100001, registration number CWK 30Y, engine type L petrol, gearbox type: 4-speed manual. Vehicle History: This vehicle started life as a launch stock 110in until engineering cut it down to a true 90 inch wheelbase. Later production vehicles have a inch wheelbase since launched in june 1984. The rear body is a Series 3 type with high fuel filler. The eyebrows were never g´fitted omn this vehicle. The front end is normal 110 up to the front doors. Roumar has it, the wheelarches were cut out to disguise the body style and a black strip stuck in the middle of the windscreen to help with camouflage while out of the factory. All the 90in prototypes were hand painted all over in drab green and given code numbers WD1 to WD10. There were 4-cyl petrol, diesel and one V8 prototypes. This being number 1 has been exhibited all over Europe within the last few years. ---1983 Land Rover 90in Prototype No. 2 belonginging to the Dunsfold Collection: chassis number 7AA100002, registration number CWK 40Y, engine type L petrol, gearbox type: LT77 5-speed manual. Vehicle History: This is number two of the ten 90 inch wheelbase Land Rovers made to be launched in June 1984. It has the high fuel filler like number one, but thats about all it has in common from the doors back. The wheelbase is the production inch, and the eyebrows are normal. The rear chassis is one off, and one can see the join in the middle where a 110 chassis was cut down. The hard top is also odd having filler strips behind the doors and the roof is a 110 cut
