Serpa (Portugal) : This solar photovoltaic power plant incorporates 52000 modules located in one of Europe's sunniest areas. This 11-megawatt plant (8 MW on average) provides enough electricity to supply approximatley 8,000 homes, which is enough to supply Serpa, Brinches and the city close to the plant, Beja. GE Energy Financial Services invested 52 million euros for this project in partnership with PowerLight Corporation and Catavento Lda.
