Minuteman. NS-10Q missile guidance system from a Minuteman ICBM (Intercontinental Ballistic missile), which carried a nuclear warhead. It was run by a D17B computer and was part of the USA's North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) from 1962. Over 1000 units were built by the Autonetics company at a cost of $234,000 each. It is on display at the Computer History Museum, which has over 3000 artefacts from 1945 to 1990. The museum is due to be relocated, becoming part of the NASA Research Park, California, USA, in 2005.
