Visitors enjoy taking photographs of the wide variety of indoor orchids In the Sembcorp Cool House, the largest green power provider in Singapore through ground-mounted, rooftop and floating solar PV systems. The design of the Cool House is its energy efficiency and sustainability requirements. It uses less energy whilst maintaining the required level of humidity for its indoor plants. The Cool House is in the National Orchid Gardens within the botanical Gardens of the 165-year-old tropical garden, located at the fringe of the Orchard Road shopping district in Singapore. It is one of three gardens, and the only tropical garden, to be honoured as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
