Itis interesting to note that the first companyof the Boys Brigade in Aberdeen wasformed in connection with the WellingtonRoad Mission of Ferryhill Church, underMr. John Moir. Another mission was. Rev. John W. Coutts, started in Bloomfield Road, where an effortwas made to reach the people of the dis-trict by means of cottage services, mothersmeetings, and similar agencies. The hallin Wellington Road, however, was unfor-tunately destroyed by fire, and it was foundimpossible to continue the mission in thesame quarter. For a time part of the workwas transferred to Ferryhill Public School, and eventually the congregation purchasedfrom Holburn Free Church the MissionHall in Holburn Street. The WellingtonRoad and Bloomfield Missions were thenunited in the Holburn Street Hall, al-though the Wellington Road Sunday-School has been continued as a separateorganisation, and still meets in FerryhillPublic School. The Holburn Street Mission is the centreof much earnest and effective work. Theagencies include a Sunday School, Band oiHope, mothers meeting, young womenssewing class, and a Sunday evening evangelistic service. A Bible woman i
