NASA astronaut Kjell Lindgren signs a photo for students after harvesting the White House Kitchen Garden with First Lady Michelle Obama and students from schools across the country on Thursday, October 6, 2016 in Washington. In the Spring, NASA officials joined the First Lady in planting seeds in the garden, including seedlings of the same variety of lettuce that has been grown on the International Space Station as part of the Veggie experiment.
