TheEgyptian Sudan is that portion of the great Su-dan which is in political affiliation with Egypt. It will make it easier to refer to different sec-tions of the Egyptian Sudan, if the names andgeneral location of its main political divisions aremastered with clearness and accuracy. The out-line map on page 25 will be of service in thisconnection.
