The variegation is unlike that of any other plant, being across the leaf in regular bands, as shown in our illustration, dark green and light yellow alternating. Gracillima.—The most beautiful of all the Eulalias, with narrow graceful foliage, entirely green, without variegation, except that the midrib is of a silvery sheen. Perfectly hardy, very valuable, Japonica Variegata.—Leaves striped white and green longitudinally.
