ST DAVIDS TOWER; TWR Y DERI, BETWS BLEDRWS Derry Ormond Tower, built , was 'almost certainly designed by (1788-1863) and apparently built by one David J Morgan (as recorded on a gravestone in Bettws Bledrws Church (teste Stephen Wiliams, Lampeter in lit 13th July 1973). It has a lofty square base, a tall round column, moulded cap, a square platform, pointed doorway and a stone newel stair lighted by slits. Said to have been built by unemployed for the squire.
