The manufacturing industries are chiefly located in the valley,leaving much of the higher lands for residences, thus causing strangersto wonder where the business necessary to support so many inhabitantsis carried on. Cleveland is sometimes called Forest City, on accountof the beautiful lawns and broad, shady avenues which meet the eye inall directions.
