160723-N-XI307-132 PORTSMOUTH, Va. (July 23, 2016) USS George H. W. Bush (CVN 77) leaves Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) after completing a 13-month planned incremental availability. GHWB will now conduct sea trials in collaboration with NNSY to evaluate Sailors' performance in addition to testing equipment and systems. After a successful completion, GHWB will return to her homeport of Norfolk, Virgina, and enter a training and qualification cycle in preparation for a 2017 deployment.
