The monastery Springborn (since 1945 Stoczek Klasztorny) is a small Marian place of pilgrimage in the Polish Warmia and Mazury.
In the early 18th Century the monastery was built on the model of Heiligelinde (Swieta Lipka). His golden age as a place of pilgrimage the monastery experienced in the mid-18th Century. Short-term and sad awareness it achieved in the 1950s, when the Primate of Poland, Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski, was interned in the monastery rooms by the Communists from October 1953 to October 1954. This picture from 2002 shows the unrenovated facade of the monastery - today the buildings and facades are restored and up to 60 guests are able to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life ...
