Nazi Swastika which had been painted on a tree on 8th September on a quiet country lane in Alwoodly North Leeds is painted over the following day.

A swastika had been painted on a tree in 8th September but quickly painted over the following day. The Graffiti on a tree on a quiet country lane in north Leeds deemed a "disgusting" anti-Semitic incident. The offensive symbol has been spray painted onto a large tree trunk on Crag Lane, Alwoodley, which is a popular walking route with people in the area and just yards from the local cricket and rugby clubs. Local resident Fiona Kelashomi noticed the swastika when she was walking her dog along the lane this morning (Tuesday) and says it was "quite unnerving" to see the vile Nazi symbol. "It just hit me in the face," she said. "It was absolutely disgusting.
