JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (May 11, 2021) - Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Diana Elston, a surgical technician at Naval Hospital Jacksonville, moves a waste management system into an operating suite. Elston, a native of Dothan, Alabama, recently returned from a deployment with a Navy Expeditionary Medical Unit in Central Command’s area of responsibility. She says, “I am entrusted to make sure supplies and equipment are ready for surgery.”
