A young boy and his baby brother stand off to the side as members of the Laghman Provincial Reconstruction Team conduct their inspection at the Mehtar Lam hospital Aug. 24. The PRT visited the hospital for the first time since arriving in July and used the visit to ensure they had enough supplies and medical personnel on the staff. The Mehtar Lam hospital is the largest medical facility in Laghman and also draws patients all the way from Nuristan, more than 50 kilometers north.
