As the energy dissipation rate increased from to 1591 W/m3, the percentage of sheared eggs that developed into normal blastulae decreased from 97% to 77%, and the percentage of eggs fertilized by sheared sperm that developed into normal blastulae decreased only from 96% to 87%..
