A., lis;Milnr iif llie Grinds of the 42 01 Senior Class History. ^1 HE history of the Class of 1908 has indeed heen a history worthy of the greati/ Latin hero ^-Eneas, for many and varied have been the experiences throughwhich we have passed during our four years of college life. When our class entered the lialls of old Greensboro Female College on onebeautiful C)ctober morning, 1904, there were nineteen of us to assume the caresand responsibilities of Freshmen. Each one of us had stored up great dreamsof going to college which might have readied to the top of old Mount , alas for our beautiful dream, for when we arrived at the College it fadedinto thin air. The sight was one at which an old girl might shudder. Just oneyear before, the old building, so dear to the heart of every girl who had everentered its halls as a student, had been left by flames as simply four walls, wliichseemingly were only to be a monument of the old daj-s. But this was not to be the destiny of a college out of whose halls had goneman
