AKSAZ, Turkey (Nov. 06, 2013)- An initial press conference is held at the Aksaz Naval Base to address the media in preparation for the upcoming Dogu Akdeniz exercises. The exercise, which will take place over the next two weeks, is being hosted by Commander, Turkish Fleet, and includes forces from the Turkish Coast Guard, Turkish Air Force, ships from Standing NATO Maritime Group 2 (SNMG 2) and the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Stout (DDG 55).
